Green Bay needs to find a running back in this draft. They would also like to improve their defensive front and find a center for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Green Bay Packers
2013 draft picks:
1st round (26), 2(55), 3(88), 4(122), 5(159), 6(193), 7 (232)

The Packers have had a relatively quiet off-season. Both Donald Driver and Jeff Saturday have retired while wide receiver Greg Jennings signed with Minnesota. Charles Woodson is no longer on the roster and a free agent. That’s a handful of veterans no longer in Green Bay.

But the Pack have all seven of their draft picks and they will have a chance to replenish their roster and fill some needs.

Draft Needs
1) Running Back
One of these days the Packers are going to have a running game to complement their outstanding quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay could go early on a guy like Eddie Lacy but it’s doubtful. They likely wait where there should be some quality backs to choose from.

2) Wide Receiver
Here’s what’s interesting about the Green Bay offense – they still have some talented wide receivers but do they have a legit No. 1 guy? Do they feel they can use their first round pick to find that guy? At their spot at 26 they are in prime position to land a really good wide receiver.

3) Offensive Line
The Packers could use a center and could address this position in the third round or so. Travis Frederick from Wisconsin is the top rated center expected to go in the late second or third round. Barrett Jones, Brian Schwenke and Khaled Holmes are likely the first guys gone after Frederick.

Green Bay could also use another offensive tackle.

4) Defensive End
The Packers could use another defensive end. Datone Jones could be available at their first round spot. Do they reach on a guy like Margus Hunt and take him early?

5) Outside Linebacker
Green Bay could use an outside linebacker opposite Clay Matthews. Cornelius Washington, John Simon, Corey Lemonier, and a few others should be available in rounds two through four.

6) Safety
If you follow the draft then you know it’s a pretty deep year at this position. It’s not a critical need but the Packers would sure like to add some depth at the position.

7) Tight End
As Green Bay looks to the future they may look to address the tight end position. They could have an opportunity to select Tyler Eifert or Zach Ertz with their first pick. Then again, if they choose to wait the Packers could select one down the line in the draft.
