The strong safety missed all of last year, Mora's first with the team, after tearing his ACL in a June practice.
"He had a hit on a crossing route," Mora said. "He got his shoulder pads loosened up a bit. Talking to (trainer) Ron (Medlin), his knee is fine. It didn't swell up or anything. We'll give him a little more time this week."
The competition between Keion Carpenter and Ronnie Heard continues with the latter taking his turn to start against Tennessee.
"When you've got Ronnie and him out there, there's a real comfort zone because they're both so smart," Mora said. "They understand the game and they take care of the people around them. That's a real attribute you look for."
