Price and Brooking miss practice

Posted Aug 22, 2005

FLOWERY BRANCH - As expected, Falcons receiver Peerless Price didn't practice after suffering bruised ribs, torn cartilage and a mild concussion Friday night.

He rode a stationary bicycle during part of the team's two-hour workout Monday.

"His ribs are fine, but he is still having some minor headaches," Mora said. "They're going to get that further checked this afternoon, and hopefully he will be back out tomorrow." ...

Linebacker Keith Brooking (thigh) hopes to return today after missing the Tennessee game and most of last week's work in practice. ... Right tackle Todd Weiner (back) was too stiff to participate.
