BIG HITS: Rookie linebacker Michael Boley was too fast and strong for Mike Pearson as he powered past the outside of the left tackle and sacked Leftwich for a 10-yard loss late in the second.

Boley, a fifth-round pick from Southern Mississippi, knocked the ball loose as he hit Leftwich from behind. Rookie tackle Jonathan Babineaux, a second-round pick from Iowa, recovered the loose ball at the Atlanta 28.

Reese had a team-high five tackles at halftime.
