The Falcons' star, one of the most prolific running quarterbacks in league history, ranked atop the NFL with 5.9 yards per carry as he entered the season finale.
Michael Vick rushed only one time, however, and he gained nothing.
Atlanta has led the league in rushing for the last two seasons, but the team's 26-yard effort in the 44-11 loss to Carolina was the seventh-worst single game in franchise history.
He disputed a notion that opponents have figured out that they can shut him down by defending the edge on either side with safeties or linebackers, stuffing the box, bringing a constant blitz and manning up on the Falcons' receivers.
"It's not just me," Vick said. "It's not just Mike Vick. I've got other players around me, other people around me, coaches who are supposed to do everything in their power to put everyone involved in the offense in a better position. It's not just me. If you think it's just me, let me go out there by myself against the 11 guys on defense. Then we'll see how tough it is."
Vick's previous career low was one yards on one carry in a loss to Tampa in 2002.
