Falcons Announce Roster Moves

FLOWERY BRANCH--The Atlanta Falcons announced a flurry of roster moves on Tuesday, releasing four veterans, signing one, and adding ten players who weren't selected in this past weekend's NFL Draft.

Released on Tuesday were defensive end Simon Fraser, defensive tackle Kindal Moorehead, cornerback Darius Vinnett, and guard Nathan Bennett.

Atlanta signed veteran free agent wide receiver Troy Bergeron, most recently of the Georgia Force of the AFL. Bergeron spent time with the Falcons in 2006 and joins former Georgia Force teammate Tony Tiller on the Falcons' roster.

The Falcons also officially announced the signing of ten undrafted rookie free agents. They are:

Brock Christopher, LB, Missouri
Robbie Dehaze, P/K, Northern Arizona
Aaron Kelly, WR, Clemson
Maurice Lucas, DE, Colorado
Darren Mougey, WR, San Diego State
Derek Nicholson, LB, Florida State
Robert Shiver, LS, Auburn
Ryan Stanchek, OT, West Virginia
Jose Valdez, OT, Arkansas
John Parker Wilson, QB, Alabama
