Bergeron Re-Signs With Falcons

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA – The Atlanta Falcons today signed free agent wide receiver Troy Bergeron. Bergeron participated in the Falcons mini-camp as tryout player this weekend.

Bergeron, 6-2, 195 pounds, competed with the Georgia Force of the AFL for three seasons (2005, 2007-08). In his Force career, he tallied 328 receptions for 4,335 yards and 96 touchdowns while adding 1,416 kickoff return yards. Bergeron was named the AFL Rookie of the Year in 2005 and was a second-team All-Arena selection in 2007. In 2006, Bergeron was signed by the Falcons as a free agent and following his release after training camp, was signed by the Buffalo Bills to the practice squad in Week 13 of the regular season.
