Falcons to Watch

Falcons to watch on Saturday night:

William Moore – The second-round pick from Missouri will make his NFL debut tonight. Moore has missed most of training camp and both preseason games after having his left knee scoped, so he won't get much work, if any, with the first-team defense. Still, getting on the field is a step in the right direction.

Tony Gonzalez – No team has been victimized by the future Hall of Fame tight end more than the San Diego Chargers. In 22 career games against the Bolts, Gonzalez has 116 receptions, 1,353 yards and nine touchdowns. He's also completed his only NFL pass attempt against the Chargers.

D.J. Shockley & John Parker Wilson – Which quarterback doesn't play on Saturday night could be an indicator for which one they're leaning towards keeping on the 53-man roster.

First-Team Offense & Defense – Tonight is the final regular season dress rehearsal for the Falcons, with the starters expected to play into the third quarter. San Diego is one of the most talented teams in the NFL, so they'll be a good measuring stick for where the Falcons are.
