SERIES: Lions lead 22-8 and won 17-10 at the Georgia Dome last year in Week 5 to give the Falcons their first loss of 2004. Atlanta will play its first game at Ford Field, which opened three years ago and hosts Super Bowl XL this season. The Falcons went 3-8 at the Pontiac Silverdome, the Lions' home from 1975-2001. Their last victory in Michigan was during the Super Bowl run seven years ago.

COACHES: Jim Mora is 18-10 in his second year with the Falcons, including 1-1 in postseason. He is 0-1 against the Lions. Mora became the 11th coach in NFL history to win a division championship in his first season; Steve Mariucci is 15-27 in three years with the Lions, 72-66 in nine seasons overall.
