Finneran brought in 23 passes for 491 yards and 3 touchdowns last season, while starting one game. He played in 12 games in his first full season in Atlanta in 2000 and was inactive for four other contests…Recorded seven catches for 60 yards with a long of 14 yards…Also returned one squibbed kickoff for two yards…Made the club after a solid preseason in which he led the team with 16 receptions for 254 yards, a 15.9 average with four touchdowns…
College
Earned All-America honors by Associated Press after a senior year at Villanova where he caught 96 passes for 1,389 yards with 19 touchdowns. For his efforts he was afforded the Walter Payton Award given to the nation's top offensive player in Division I-AA. Finished his productive career with a school record 265 receptions for 3,872 yards with 34 touchdowns. |
